At this moment we are looking for an Africa Retail Finance Coordinator.

Africa Retail Finance Coordinator 

Responsibilities: 

• Support and collaborate with Komatsu distributors in analyzing finance requests and needs for customers with operations in Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Evaluate finance requests and provide recommendations to the credit committee by assessing various risks such as business, political, asset, and counterparty risks.
• Conduct research and analysis on minerals and construction sectors trends in Sub-Saharan Africa to assess the financial risk associated with financing customers in these sectors.
• Support the development of financing solutions for end customers in Africa.
• Maximize external risk coverage through external coverage (private/ECA).
• Coordinate with internal and external legal counsels to implement financing.
• Follow up on the finance portfolio in terms of arrears, collections, and exposure.
• Presentation for Corporate reporting

Requirements:

• University level in Economics or Management
• Experience with Excel and Powerpoint
• Understanding of basic accounting standards
• Native French with very good English command
• You are interested in developing new activities and setting up new procedures in a dynamic environment
• You are genuinely interested in international trade and geopolitical relations and you have a strong interest in Africa
• Ambitious, you are in the driver seat of your career!
• Pragmatic, diplomatic person, able to work with different culture and under time pressure in detail
• Assertive communicator
• Entrepreneurial mindset with independence in getting the job done
