Facility Administrator

Komatsu is the 2nd largest worldwide manufacturer of construction, mining and utility equipment, and also delivers forest machines and logistics.

Facility Administrator

The facility team is responsible to ensure a healthy, safe and cost effective working environment by maintaining and upgrading our assets (building infrastructure and equipment) located at Vilvoorde.

To achieve this goal the facility team is divided in sub area’s: 

  • soft facilities 
  • hard facilities (building infrastructure and equipment)
  • projects

As Administrator facilities you will be responsible for:

  • follow-up cleaning-, catering- & waste services
  • follow-up admin of the fleet
  • admin tasks regarding real estate
  • security admin follow-up
  • work clothing, PBM, EHBO & Covid material
  • create purchase orders, follow-up invoices

The Administrator facilities ensures that the internal clients’ facility needs are registered in the FMIS (Facility Management Information System, Ultimo).

As Administrator of the various tasks within the facilities, you will monitor the follow-up and provide feedback to the requestors.  You will do this in compliance with the company’s policies, procedures, the respective budgets and the applicable laws and regulations.  You will check the contractors’ and suppliers’ delivery notes/ work orders & invoices in the accounting system ISP.   

You provide assistance with practical services and participate in the general administrative simplification.


Profile Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree, preferable facility management
  • 3-5 years in similar/comparable position (facilities, project management, real estate)
  • MS Office Tools
  • Knowledge / Experience with a FMIS system (Ultimo)
  • Knowledge / Experience with Fleet Management
  • Driving permit B
  • Ability to work independently
  • Clear, friendly communication
  • Need to able to stay organized while multi-tasking and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Language skills : Dutch, English, French is a plus
