Facility Administrator

At this moment we are looking for a Facility Administrator.

Facility Administrator 

Responsibilities: 

  • You have daily communication with internal and external (contractors, suppliers) people.
  • You are responsible for drawing up a schedule for maintenance work and inspections.
  • Komatsu has been working with a number of established companies for years. As a result, you build a close relationship with suppliers and you consult with them about inspections and maintenance work (buildings, loading docks, heating, ...)
  • You execute risk-analysis and adapt in where necessary (during/after execution of works).
  • You ensure that our subcontractors are provided with correct work permits at all times.
  • Safety is crucial to us, you are in touch with our safety team and guarantee that all procedures are followed (only work allowed, in possession of the correct certificate, clean criminal record, ...)
  • In addition to making orders in our ISP system, you are responsible for correct invoicing.
  • All our activities are processed administratively in Ultimo (job creation).
  • You provide support to our technical officer for heavy or difficult jobs.
  • You act as the central point of contact for hard facilities and you fulfill a back-up role for soft facilities.
  • You think about improvements, IT affinity is a must for this.
  • Sporadic Saturday work (floor repairs or BA4/BA5 inspections)
  • In the long term there is the possibility to work from home for 1 day (not on Wednesday).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Facility Management or equivalent through experience, preferably  technical certificate
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience (facilities, project management, real estate)
  • Fork lift certificate and working with an aerial work platform is a plus
  • Able to work independently
  • Smooth person who likes to plan, organize with result-oriented mindset
  • Customer-oriented approach, team player, loyal and passionate about safety
  • BA4/BA5 knowledge is a bonus
  • You enjoy working in a flexible context and can deal with changing schedules.
  • You are assertive enough to address people about behavior/guidelines
  • Languages: good knowledge of NL (team), ENG (internal departments), FR is a plus
  • Work smoothly with PC
  • Knowledge/experience with FMIS system (Ultimo) is a plus
  • VCA basic certificate is an asset
