Financial Analyst

Responsibilities: 

Finance tasks KEISA/KECC

  • Prepares in the budget/forecast process the inputs sheet for all departments;
  • Aggregates in the budget/forecast process the inputs from all departments & business units for overall reporting Belgium;
  • Keeps departments informed on approved budget/forecast amounts;
  • Performs monthly budget - actual follow-up and signals foreseeable budget overruns;
  • Assists in the preparation for the monthly/quarterly reporting in given templates towards Japan and European Head Quarters;
  • Follow up on service. Make sure that the service cost are correctly booked and allocated.

Central Entrepreneur

  • Day to day follow-up of all the sales / cos coming from the European plants and make sure all is properly booked in the LN ERP system and reconciles 
  • Assists in the monthly closing, reconciliation, provision setup of all European plants related to Sales/COS;
  • Setup accrual/deferrals/incentives for CE and follow them up;
  • Follow-up on sales incentive spending and make comprehensive reporting to management

Fixed Assets Management

  • Assist in the budget preparation
  • Reviews if the requested fixed assets are in line with approved budgets and internal procedures
  • Checks completeness of the fixed asset file 
  • Reconciles the fixed asset subledger with the ledger accounts

Customs

  • Assists in the customs document follow up for all machines imported in Europe

Other

  • Assists in ad hoc analysis

Requirements:

  • University degree in Economics, Finance
  • 0-2 yrs experience
  • Good accounting knowledge and USGAAP
  • Knowledge of internal controls (incl SOX) is an asset
  • MS Office Excel, reporting software (TM1, Board)
  • English mandatory, other European language is a plus
  • Logical thinking
  • Structured & accurate
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate leadership, able to work with all levels in an organization
  • Proactive, hands-on, eager to learn
  • Committed to quality by continuously looking for ways to improve processes
