Product planning and product maintenance (35%)

  • Monitor the market trends and customer needs: propose and follow-up the future developments in the market for existing and possible new product groups
  • Plan & implement new product launching for assigned products/ attachments 
  • Propose and control new product promotion budget (advertising, press releases,
    demo’s, etc) and Integrate new product/model promotion for marketing actions and activities.
  • Activate Parts/Service preparation of new products by communicating with the warehouse & Service
  • Support and organize demo activities at the site
  • Support & perform assigned Hansei activity
  • Support & perform assigned inventory control activities
  • Logistical follow-up together with the warehouse where required
  • Support price negotiation with suppliers

Product marketing (35%)

  • Visit customers to provide expertise and support to DB’s / Dealers
  • Provide high level pre-sales & after-sales advice to DB and customers
  • Develop product material in cooperation with material creation team; organize marketing communication, brochures, marketing news, market Introduction announcements.
  • Develop promotional sales campaigns 

Distributor training (10%)

  • Develop training material; organize competitive testing; plan and execute sales
  • Training for Distributors 
  • Set-up training events for distributors and customers

Pricing (20%)

  • Negotiate purchase prices with suppliers.
  • Ensure product profitability in line with the Komatsu policy by setting up complex sales price structures.
  • Set-up pricing for Remanufactured components taking into account core returns. Ensure continuity of Remanufactured business by setting appropriate core return values.
  • Set-up pricing for Large Machines Support projects to incentivize customers to extend machine life


  • Master degree (technical, engineering)
  • English and preferably another major European language
  • Driving License B
  • Presentation and training skills
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
