Key Accounts & Regional Manager North Africa

At this moment Komatsu is looking for a Key Accounts & Regional Manager North Africa.

The position will be a combination of a Key Accounts Manager & Regional Manager.


Key Accounts Manager

  • To create, negotiate & implement European & global fidelity agreements with selected accounts
  • To create, negotiate & implement per account a sales approach on European level while maximizing profits & securing market share (Factory level).
  • To decide the sales parameters while maximizing profits & develop reference quotes/price books in cooperation with all involved distributors and to negotiate these on a B to B level (DB level)
  • To conclude the business and to transmit the machine orders to distributors. (Account level)
  • To assist factories & distributors with the execution of the orders
  • To strengthen the relationships between selected major accounts (European HQ level), Komatsu Europe and local distributors (DB's) by collecting, centralizing and linking (confidential) information
  • To develop/implement a CRM system in order to report Komatsu’s performance with the major accounts and make action plans where needed

Regional Manager

  • Be a bridge between DBs and Komatsu
  • Develop market for Komatsu products with DBs
  • Agree share targets by country and by product line
  • Responsible for activity plan by country and by product line to match the share targets
  • Drive the DB’s operational improvement
  • Support DBs to roll out the Brand Management activities
  • Is responsible for administering regional support budget


  • University Graduate Economy/ Engineering
  • Min. 5 years in similar position
  • French and English language skills, knowledge of Arabic is nice to have
  • Managing French key accounts (5-6) and dealing with North-African Distributors (4)
  • Good knowledge of business management
  • Basic technical knowledge of construction equipment
  • Good knowledge of all office related IT programs
  • Good Knowledge of Distributor Management
  • Someone to really drive the business, able to handle arguments in a commercial way but additionally taking care of structuring the DB’s
  • Person will deal with a broad scope of the business
  • Person will be based in Vilvoorde, Belgium
