Low Code Developer

Komatsu is the 2nd largest worldwide manufacturer of construction, mining  and utility equipment, and also delivers forest machines and logistics.

Low Code Developer 

Areas of responsibility:

As a Low-code Developer you are responsible for modelling and delivering custom applications and integrations to our customers. By using model-driven (low-code) software, you are able to deliver software solutions effectively and quickly to our customers.

You preferably work in scrum teams and are therefore able to achieve the right results quickly. As a Low-code Developer you are mainly involved in developing (parts of) the applications and integrations in a team (Project or DevOps) using low-code platforms:

Convert the “abstract” idea of the customers (what they need) into functional requirements whereby clearly defining the scope, what the system, process or service must do in order to fulfil the business requirement

  • Design, implement, test, deliver and document software solutions that meet the business requirements using; low-code platforms
  • Perform interim evaluation of the functionalities delivered with the customer
  • Apply scrum methodology with your team to respond quickly to changed or extensive requirements and areas for improvement

  • Professional bachelor in Business Administration or Information Technology or (demonstrably) equivalent through experience
  • Project management & software development methodologies (ex. Prince2, Agile-SCRUM …), business process management methodologies and related techniques (User Stories, BPMN, UML …), familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), governance and compliance frameworks (COBIT, (J)SOX). Basic knowledge of programming. Prior experience with low-code platforms s.a. Mendix or Salesforce is an asset
  • Complex problem solving, critical thinking, judgement and decision making, coordination & negotiation, information ordering, inductive & deductive reasoning
  • Open-minded, constructive, pro-active, independent & autonomous, service oriented, active learning (eager to). Affinity and interest in technology, IT, programming and want to build something yourself. Open to working abroad for short period of time (several days/month)
  • Perfect mastering of the local language at the place of employment and/or English (fluent in speaking, reading and writing). English is a “must”
