Currently there are almost 300 people working at the Komatsu Europe Headquarters and Parts distribution center in Vilvoorde (Belgium): technical experts, sales profiles, logistic and administrative staff, etc. These people come from wide-ranging backgrounds and jobs, and share common characteristics such as perseverance, commitment, analytical skills, efficiency and trustworthiness: the very image of Komatsu machines.
The Imported Machines Administration department is responsible for the planning, purchase, transport, final assembly, distribution of Mining and Construction machines and attachments. This equipment is imported from Japanese and Brazilian plants and sold into Europe and North Africa.
The Sales Administration Coordinator is the first point of contact for the distributors regarding all sales/logistic administration matters and is in charge for the proper follow up of their requests.
You initiate and follow up the ongoing reservations, allocate machines/attachments to orders, issue the sales order acknowledgements, confirmations, invoices and CE certificates and keep the IT systems and filing up to date.
You will also check and follow up Letters of Credit (LC) in cooperation with Credit Department and send shipping instructions to Komatsu Ltd. Japan.
Communication is important in relation with distributors, but also with internal colleagues and logistic suppliers.
