Komatsu is the 2nd largest worldwide manufacturer of construction, mining  and utility equipment, and also delivers forest machines and logistics. 

At this moment we are looking for Information Security Analyst.

Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Analyst assists the Security Officer in all aspects of his role. He/She is taking a leading role in the tactical/practical aspects of the information security area (training, communication, (policy)writing …) where the Security Officer provides the vision and strategy. To achieve this the Information Security Analyst coordinates activities with other departments and external parties where and when needed. Additionally the Information Security Analyst acts as backup for the Security Officer for those tasks that are time-bound/critical.

Responsibilities

• Creating relevant (on-line) training kits supporting the effective roll-out of information security activities throughout the organization. Starting point for these training kits can be (new) policies, observed knowledge/understanding gaps, availability of new tools, methods & processes
• Participating in risk management programs.
• Day-to-day management of an ISMS (Information Security Management system) (monitoring, reporting, escalation, quality assurance …).
• Writing and reviewing relevant (linked to information security) policies and procedures as/when needed, assuring they adhere to the required standards (content, layout …) and make sure they are approved by all stakeholders.
• Leads the practical/tactical activities (response) needed to prevent impact of known/informed cyber threats & vulnerabilities. For this task works closely together with the global C-SIRT, SOC and any other organization involved in preventing/detecting cyber threats. (planning, monitoring, reporting …).
• Assisting in developing Komatsu Security strategy in accordance with the business goals of Komatsu Europe.
• Providing day to day guidance to members of the ICT team with respect to practical/actual requirements in areas like Secure Software Development, OT etc.
• Participating in performing the Komatsu security controls and assisting in reporting of security risks to the management.
• Remains competent and current through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contacts with colleagues, attending professional development courses, attending training, conferences, and/or courses as directed by the supervisor, and obtaining certifications relevant to job duties

Requirements

• Education: Professional bachelor or master in information technology or (demonstrably) equivalent knowledge through experience. Preferably complemented by one or more information security related certificates (example :  CISSP, CISM, CISMP,  CEH, ISO27001 implementer…)
• Experience: At least 3 years of working experience in the information security domain (network security, application security, information security audit …) preferably in an international organization backed up by at least 2 years hands-on experience as system engineer (networking, firewalls, servers, cloud, AD …)
• Skills: Technical writing (policies etc) and communication (training) skills are required. Knowledge of and experience with compliance requirements (GDPR, SOX, NIS) and information security frameworks (CIS, ISO27001, Cobit) are a definite asset. Experience with implementing/managing and running an ISMS underpinning all the above is required. Effective verbal and written communication skills in at least Dutch & English is a must. You are a team player.
