Apprenticeship roles

We offer fantastic Apprenticeship opportunities in a wide range of areas - Mechanical Assembly, Welding, Painting, CNC and Maintenance.

Apprenticeships take four years to complete, after which there will be the opportunity to secure permanent employment with us. At the end of the apprenticeship, you will achieve an Advanced Apprenticeship and a Level 3 qualification in their discipline. 

To apply for our Apprenticeship roles, you will need to have a minimum of, or expect to achieve four GCSE’s grade 4-9, to include Maths and English, or equivalent. We offer a very competitive starting salary with regular increases.

What will I learn?

  • How to weld large steel components to a high-quality standard.
  • How to operate machinery such as overhead cranes, air tools and manipulators.
  • How to follow work procedures/drawings.

What will I learn?

  • How to prepare and spray paint parts and finished machines to a high-quality standard
  • How to operate machinery such as spray guns and overhead cranes
  • Fault finding.
  • How to follow work procedures/drawings.
  • Teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • How to work safely.

Maintenance apprentice

What will I learn?

  • Learn how to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance on manufacturing equipment such as Robots & CNC Machines.
  • Learn how to use fault finding techniques, identify root causes of breakdowns.
  • Learn electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic principles of KUK equipment.
  • Understand how to interpret drawings.
  • Work within a team environment and contribute towards continuous improvement activities.
