We offer roles in many Engineering disciplines, such as Production Engineering, Design, Planning and Quality. 

Planning

Planning is responsible for creating the plans, coordinating and monitoring the New Model introduction for the business. The department is also responsible for cost control, sales support activities and production systems support. Planning roles include:

• Preparing schedules for new model introduction 
• Coordinating the activities of multiple Departments to support new model introduction 
• Build support, coordination and problem resolution 
• Evaluation costing for new models 
• Costing monitoring and reduction for existing models 
• Costing, production support and introduction for special attachments 
• Production systems support by creating work standards
• Production system maintenance 
• Continuous improvements for systems maintenance 

Quality

The Quality Assurance Department ensures the consistency and reliability of products by overseeing quality control and conducting rigorous inspections and testing. The team works to continuously improve manufacturing processes, ensures compliance with industry standards, and takes corrective actions when necessary. Their efforts help maintain the company’s reputation for high-quality products. Field support also sit within Quality, to act as the bridge between the factory and the end customer.

Quality Assurance Department Responsibilities:

• Monitoring production processes to ensure products meet quality standards. 
• Conducting inspections and testing raw materials, components, and finished products. 
• Identifying areas for improvement in manufacturing processes to enhance quality. 
• Ensuring adherence to the Komatsu Engineering Standards (KES). 
• Investigating quality issues, finding the root cause and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. 

Production

The Production Engineering Department focuses on optimising manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. They ensure the selection and maintenance of appropriate equipment, provide technical support during production, and lead continuous improvement efforts. Their work is essential for enhancing productivity, maintaining product quality, and driving cost-effective operations.

Design

The Design and Development Department adapts Japanese-engineered products for the EU market, ensuring they meet local regulations, customer demands, and environmental conditions. Through market research, design optimisation, and rigorous testing, the team customises products to provide exceptional performance.
