Komatsu is the 2nd largest worldwide manufacturer of construction, mining  and utility equipment, and also delivers forest machines and logistics.

Digital Platforms Coordinator

About the Role

Business Transformation aims to introduce and monetize value added service via our distributors or directly to our end customers. Activities are wide ranging in the area of digital solutions, telematics, customer and distributor portals, transforming business processes, enhancing operational efficiency and organizational change. The Digital Platforms Coordinator will be primarily based in the Telematics & Operations team providing first line support for telematics and distributor and customer facing Komatsu portals and reinforce the operations of digital solutions. In addition the role will actively contribute to projects in each of the subdepartments or cross-functionally across the whole department, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the department’s initiatives and impact on the complete business.

Key responsibilities 

  • Provide first line support for telematics as well as distributor and customer facing Komatsu portals.
  • Assist with quality assurance, testing and roll out of Komatsu portals to the market.
  • Support Marketing, promotional and training activities for the introduction of Komatsu portals.
  • Reinforce processes and procedures across the operations of solution sales.
  • Contribute to strategic projects within the Telematics & Operations team.
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects across the whole department.

Your Focus

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field
  • Ideally a Master’s degree of Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Expected competences:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work to and meet deadlines.
  • IT or technically affine
  • Internal and external customer minded.
  • Motivated by working in multi-cultural context
  • Work in a structured way
  • Willing to travel across EMEA
