Product Manager - 3D Guidance

Komatsu is the 2nd largest worldwide manufacturer of construction, mining  and utility equipment, and also delivers forest machines and logistics. 

Currently there are almost 300 people working at the Komatsu Europe Headquarters and Parts distribution center in Vilvoorde (Belgium): technical experts, sales profiles, logistic and administrative staff, etc. These people come from wide-ranging backgrounds and jobs, and share common characteristics such as perseverance, commitment, analytical skills, efficiency and trustworthiness: the very image of Komatsu machines.

We’re looking for a Product Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys coordinating across many stakeholders, and takes ownership of improving and growing our 3D machine guidance solutions. No experience in 3D Guidance? No worries, our experienced team will teach you everything you need.

Key responsibilities 

• You’re the bridge between customers, distributors, internal teams, and our Japanese engineering colleagues → ensuring alignment, clarity, and smooth collaboration.
• You’re the glue that holds it all together.

Own & Improve the Product

• You’ll manage the 3D guidance product end-to-end:
• Stay close to users to understand what works and what doesn’t
• Drive improvements, updates, and innovation
• Ensure the product keeps evolving and remains competitive

Manage Many Projects at Once

• You’ll keep multiple parallel projects moving, from pricing and factory installations to distributor support and internal improvements.
• You don’t get overwhelmed; you get energized by the pace.

Share Knowledge

• You keep stakeholders and distributors up to date with the latest developments. Training sessions, internal/external, or even during customer visits are part of your daily rhythm.

Support Our Distributor Network
Help our DBs succeed by:

• Supporting pre-sales and after-sales
• Delivering training and expertise
• Helping them improve their performance
• Visiting customers together to get first user feedback. You become their trusted go-to person.

Your Focus

You’ll succeed if you:

• Love managing multiple things at once
• Enjoy solving problems and bringing clarity
• Communicate easily and connect people naturally
• Like working across cultures and teams
• Have experience in 3D guidance or are eager to learn
• Are willing to travel regularly to stay close to the field
