Vilvoorde, January 6, 2026 — Komatsu Europe today announces a major evolution of its distribution network in France.
As of January 2026, BIA Group will become the new official Komatsu distributor for the regions currently served by BPM Construction, following the acquisition of BPM Construction’s activities by BIA Group, and as part of a structured transition carried out in close cooperation with the brand’s two long-standing partners.
Throughout this transition, existing teams, operational structures, and on-the-ground organizations will remain in place, ensuring full continuity of day-to-day operations and uninterrupted service for customers.
This strategic decision, taken in agreement with BPM Construction and BIA Group, aims to strengthen the coherence of Komatsu’s distribution network in Europe, enhance the quality of service provided to customers, and support the growth of the French market, one of the most dynamic for Komatsu in the EMEA region.
For more than 30 years, BPM Construction has ensured the distribution, technical support, and spare parts supply for Komatsu equipment across key territories in western France. Komatsu would like to express its sincere appreciation to BPM Construction for its commitment, professionalism, and contribution to the development of the brand in its territory.
In parallel, BIA Group, a Komatsu distributor in Belgium for more than 25 years and present in over 20 countries, will bring its proven expertise in services, customer support, and comprehensive solutions for construction and mining equipment. Through this extension of scope, Komatsu aims to ensure a smooth transition, guarantee full service continuity, and strengthen operational capabilities for the benefit of all customers.
