It boasts many industry firsts and is packed full of outstanding new and improved features. Operator comfort, safety initiatives, ergonomic design, low fuel consumption, advances in controllability, and highest levels of standard specifications ever seen in the industry all raise the bar in terms of what customers can expect from a mini excavator.
Mr Enrico Prandini, Managing Director for Komatsu Italia Manufacturing states: “Despite the general situation of the economy in Italy, the earthmoving sector has, in the past two years, consistently shown signs of growth, which is bound to bring back Italy among the top European markets. We carefully weighed our decision to attend Samoter. Komatsu has recently made huge investments in a new assembly line and paint shop for our manufacturing plant in Italy, and we wished to put this forward, both to the market and the country. Samoter is a strategic event for the earthmoving and construction equipment sector in Europe and for our Italian distribution network. I am convinced our customers will appreciate the efforts made by Komatsu to present many new models and match their expectations Finally, this is Samoter’s 30th edition and Komatsu Europe will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2017. The historical aspect of our attendance was also a factor: Samoter is a milestone for our company and an ideal stage to present the latest Komatsu innovations”.
