Debut will highlight the commitment of Komatsu to Europe’s mining sector and its work in autonomous systems, electrification and smart mining
Vilvoorde, October 2026 — Komatsu will exhibit at the Mining and Minerals Hall (MMH) for the first time, marking its commitment to Europe’s mining sector and to supporting the industry’s long-term development.
The sixth edition of MMH will take place from October 20 to 22, 2026, at FIBES in Sevilla. Bringing together a commercial exhibition, scientific congress and innovation-focused activities, the event will gather companies, professionals and institutions connected with the mining industry.
Komatsu will occupy stands 2223–2232 in Hall 2, with a 160 m² exhibition space, and will also participate in the outdoor exhibition area. Visitors will be able to see the new HM460-6 articulated dump truck and D175AX-10 bulldozer outdoors. Inside the stand, Komatsu will present a PW138MR-11 excavator configured for remediation work, alongside an HD605 rigid dump truck simulator designed for operator training.
The exhibition will give Komatsu an opportunity to engage directly with customers, distributors, mining operators, investors and public institutions from across the region. Alongside its equipment, the company will highlight its work in autonomous systems, electrification, zero-emission haulage concepts and smart mining technologies.
“We are proud to be at MMH for the first time. This debut reflects our focus on helping mining operations improve productivity and reduce emissions while responding to Europe’s evolving sustainability and decarbonisation objectives. Through our participation, we aim to strengthen dialogue across the mining community and contribute to the sector’s long-term development in Europe, ” says Naser Memic Rendon, Deputy General Manager Marketing & Communication at Komatsu Europe.
