WA600-8 Stone Handler

Block Handling specification

Stone block handling requires robust machinery to ensure efficiency of the operation. The Komatsu wheel loader WA600-8 is well known for its exceptionally strong design, the basis for a long service life even under the toughest conditions.

With the stone handling specification this basic machine is adapted to special requirements in this application. Hydraulic modifications to the base machine allow higher loads. In addition the reinforced axles in combination with the axle oil cooler, bigger diameter tilt and lift cylinders, break oil cooler and additional counterweights result in a package which meets the application needs. Also the frame has been significantly reinforced front and rear, using thicker steel plates and stronger welds.
